Amber Benson was born Amber Nicole Benson on the 8th of January, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama, US. She had a mixed religious upbringing, with Christian and Jewish parents. Amber’s first role was on a commercial for snap.com. She then gained a role in the hit King of the Hill, and Amber was nominated for an award. Amber also appeared in The Crush with Alicia Silverstone. Amber also appeared in the movie Can’t Hardly Wait, but most of her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor when the movie was pared from an R to a PG rating. Amber truly came to our attention as Tara on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1999, and this continued through until 2001. In 2001, Amber wrote, directed, produced, and acted in the movie Chance. In 2005, Amber wrote and directed again with the film Lovers, Liars, and Lunatics. This actress is only five feet, four inches tall. Amber now has a publishing deal with author Christopher Golden to write a series of novels. She also has a three-book deal with Penguin Publishing, and the first novel is entitled Death’s Daughter. This talented beauty is also musical, and she provided her voice to two tracks on Anthony Head’s solo CD entitled Music for Elevators.
